SILICON STUDIO AND DENA RELEASE ‘FANTASICA: BLOODLINES,’ A SPINOFF OF THE HIT GAME

FANTASICA: BLOODLINES

Mobile, Free-to-Play, Character-Collecting RPG Now Available Worldwide on iPhone, iPad and Android Devices

TOKYO, JAPAN – October 27, 2016 – FANTASICA: Bloodines, a new mobile, free-to-play, character-collecting RPG from leading mobile developers DeNA and Silicon Studio, is now available worldwide on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play for Android devices. A spinoff of the hit game, FANTASICA, which launched in 2012 and has been downloaded over 8 million times, FANTASICA: Bloodlines is a reimagined version of the original, featuring numerous battle types, updated high resolution art, an engaging social experience and a theme song by Konomi Suzuki, a Japanese pop singer and the winner of the fifth annual Animax Anison Grand Prix.
Here’s the story: the game begins with a reoccurring dream of a beautiful world, much brighter than the one we live in now. A world where the heavens were painted with six colors – the Six Blessings. Until one day the sky was shrouded by sable wings, and legions of tainted souls emerged from the dark abyss. Clenched within the malicious maw of evil, the world was brought to the brink of destruction. Three heroes appear before the darkness, their tattered bodies all that stands between our world and total annihilation.
Players join the adventure with lots of choices to make, leading the player on a completely original story line voiced by well-known Japanese actresses, including Haruka Tomatsu, Saori Hayami, Inori Minase, Yuka Iguchi, Sumire Uesaka and Mai Nakahara.
Players can collect and create a party of nine to battle the enemy, and will need to develop a variety of strategies and play styles to defeat different opponents, who each carry unique challenges. Players can customize and upgrade characters’ skills and weapons to mold battle strategy and destroy the enemy in style.
Players can also enjoy numerous battle types, such as side scrolling battle or a free run battle as well as various play modes, such as PvE, PvP, GvG/E, Co-op (big boss) and multiplayer modes (coming soon). Through the know-how of entertaining FANTASICA players for four years, FANTASICA: Bloodlines inherits the constant flow of new events and quests.
